Default Importing a cayenne into Canada?

Hey everyone,

I am interested in importing a 06 cayenne into canada..its a cayenne with 50k on it....price is 22.5k.

Just wondering if anyone has done this...and besides the obvious...i have imported 2 non Porsche cars into Canada which required no mods.\\

Should i expect any additional costs with modifications?

Thanks in advance

I did it last year and the only problem is the recall letter. Porsche wants $2000 for it in the form of $1200 'inspection' which is nothing more than an oil change and the rest is for French decals for the fuel tank and sun visors. It's total crap and a rip off. I got around it by getting the US dealer to print me off a 'job management' printout showing the vehicle has no outstanding recalls. The document doesn't need to be stamped or signed. RIV will accept it. If u wanna make sure, get it for the vehicle before u buy and see what RIV says.
Otherwise, the process is like any other car. Hope that helps.
