Cool PCNA COIL REIMBUREMENT

Has anyone who turned in the paperwork to PCNA for reimbursement of defective coils had any response or any information as to when PCNA will make payments to eligible cayenne owners? I think it's been close to 3 months. Thanks, Mike

Someone posted a few weeks back that he had received his check. IIRC, he submitted the paperwork immediately. I haven't heard a peep on mine.

I submitted mine right away and have heard nothing. I called in a couple of weeks ago and they said they have only one person working all the claims. I asked if maybe they should just let those people who submitted claims know that they are in progress and the person on the phone indicated there was nothing they could do. Pretty lame!

I would bet that lots of others are going to start calling and they are going to have to hire others to just field the 'wheres my claim' question. I don't think it is too much to ask to send a note or an email indicating that they have received the claim and it is in process and the time frame it should take to mail reimbursement or correspondence. Again, LAME!!!!!!!

I was sent a letter with instructions in the mail from PCNA. I bought my Cayenne second-hand, so I bet they got my address and info from one of the couple of times I went to the dealer for maintenance. If you have been to the dealer they should have your address or if you have moved; then maybe not. I still have the copy which I could scan and send to you. I would recommend calling the dealer and asking them how to get a copy. Let me know if I can help you out with the scan. I just have to find it first ;-).

I received my reimbursement check from PCNA on January 3rd. I had all 8 coils replaced on November 22, 2009. I sent my claim for reimubrsement to PCNA on October 22, 2010.

I also received a letter from PCNA with instructions for submitting a claim. Their requirements are pretty specific - your Cayenne needs to fall within a certain age and mileage range when the coils were replaced, and you need to have had the work done at an authorized Porsche dealer. They will want copies of the service ticket and the receipt documenting what you paid for the repair. They return all this information to you with the check.

KJKCCT, thank you a TON! I called my dealer twice and nobody can help me there apparently (its not new $ in their pocket). If you can scan at your leisure, I would be extremely grateful!

mxquattro - sure thing. Will get it scanned. Probably on Monday. Also, I do not believe that the work had to be done at a Porsche dealer for reimbursement. There are instructions if you did not get coils changed at the dealer. My bet is that those who did the work at a dealer will get their claims completed with less hassle and faster. I submitted mine right away and am still waiting........

I also joined the class action on the coolant issues. I'd encourage everyone to do the same.
