"Remove the front bumper, replace the jet carrier (955-628-180-00).
Hopefully no more rivers of windshield washer fluid everytime you park and walk away.
Translated for 'naked' Cayenne owners: $44.15 parts, $223 labor.

After our snow and ice here in Atlanta, water probably froze in the jet carrier and it cracked because the expansion and leaked windshiel washer fluid. I had blue icicles hanging on the front bumper.
I never used this feature with this car nor the other Porsches that I've owned. With the 60K inspection coming up, and needing new tires soon, I can't afford another $270 tacked to that cost.
What I did was to plug the line with a small rubber stopper.
I removed the headlamp. Poured hot water on the rubber hose attached to the jet carrier to soften the hose. After this I was able to pull it off w/o problems. I coated the rubber stopper with some silicone gasket sealer, pushed it in and "skewered" the stopper and the hose with a uphostery needle (T-shaped) to hold it under pressure. That way, if I have a windfall, the hose can be reattached to a new jet carrier and not leak. So far no leak.
(Sorry, no pictures as it was cold and dark ,and this was done holding a flashlight.)
