I am currently stationed in Germany and my wife and daughter have outgrown the Mini Cooper S. It looks like the only manual transmission all wheel drive US Spec German SUV is the new V6 Cayenne. So does anyone have one?

I currently have a new LR 110 Defender (the perks of living in Germany) and have had no problems with quirky British engineering over the last 2 years. . I would prefer my wife to get a 90 Defender but she feels like a tank commander when she drives my 110.

so far there have been very few 2011 cayennes produced with the manual transmission. I've got one on order, but it won't be delivered for another month or so. on the 6 speed forum there is a member who took delivery of one recently. you can read his comments on this thread:

you could also talk to a GBX on this forum - he test drove a stick shift recently.
