Starter parts, from what I understand the DC electric motor is the starter part like in the Toyota Prius! What is the point of having an extra dedicated DC part to start the engine when the electric component of the hybrid can do it just as well?

I don't know what it is about the US and importing European Diesel technology. Is it that our diesel fuel is too dirty? I've been eyeballing a Cayenne Diesel before the new model came out and was beyond bummed to see that they weren't bringing it to the states. Atleast not yet.

I've driven the Cayenne Turbo and not the Hybrid yet. I came to the conclusion then that the Turbo erred on the side of having too much power. I mean its silly.
