Default Changing to Non Recommended Tire Size?

We just picked up the '11 Cayenne V6, pretty fully loaded. Upgraded to the 19in Turbo Wheel. However, in doing so, the tire that comes with it is the Goodyear Eagle LS-2. We had an X5 4.8 previously that had Bridgestone Duelers which were remarkably great in the snow for an all-season. The Goodyears are fine for what we need to get around town but we do go skiing a bit to Mt. Hood and would prefer not to have to get dedicated winter tires. The Eagles are 265/50/19 and the reviews are pretty bad (actually disappointed that Porsche puts this kind of tire on). The choices in the range are pretty limited. However, in the 255/50/19, I can get the Continental DWS which are supposed to be pretty amazing all season tires, especially in the snow. I know that there will be a difference in circumference but it looks to be 0.8 mph at 60 mph (1.24"). Anything else I should be concerned about?
