Today the 06 Cayenne Turbo did not respond to either of its two remote keys. It rests at it usually trouble free spot in the garage. I am thinking some kind of radio-interference since the radio-controlled garage door opener's range had shrinked to about half a yard also.
I got the car started using the emergency unlocking prosedyre and everything worked fine when moved 20yards away from the garage.
I have tried cutting power to all of the house and garage to conclude the source of the radio interference could not come from this property. Everything worked fine a few days ago and will hopefully do so again tomorrow.
Any tips about what could cause such a problem?
Are the Cayennes very sensitive to radio-interference?

Solved.
The problem was a radiotransmitter for some common wireless christmas-lights. It was stored in its box in the shed above the garage. It was in a bind so that it transmitted continously and jammed the Cayenne and the garage door opener.
Lesson; remove batteries from radiocontrollers before storing.
