Default Might buy a 04 Cayenne Turbo. What should I expect for maintenance costs?

A guy I met is selling his 04 cayenne turbo S. At least I think its a turbo S. It has 70k miles on it and he is selling it for 30k. Gonna try to offer 25k but im a little worried about what the maintenance costs might be for a Porsche. I make pretty descent money but im not rich by any means. I'm moving to Arizona from Chicago for 6 months to a year and thought it would be fun to have this car out there. Im really only planning on keeping it for a year or so and then selling it. Any info would be helpful to making my decision. About the 04 model in general, the price that he is asking and what kind of maintenance costs am I looking at. I hope nothing major would go wrong in the time I own it. If repairs are completely ridiculously expensive, I might not get it and that would suck because its a beauty!

So is it a Turbo or a Turbo S?

There was no "Turbo S" in 04, so I guessing just a Turbo.

Yes, always better to torture a new member rather then help.

How is this torturing? I'm waiting on the back story. Either there was a mistake or "the guy" whom the OP "met" is intentionally misleading by selling it as something it isn't, aka CTTS.

You do have a cruel streak, you must learn to admit it and go with the force

Is it because I use these too much or because my Darth Vader helmet is showing?

My feet are up. My pinky toe lost a battle with the fridge few nights ago

To answer the OP question.

Put $5000.00 aside post sale.

That should cover coolant tubes, plugs and coils, cardan shaft and a mystery repair.

Quick Reply: Might buy a 04 Cayenne Turbo. What should I expect for maintenance costs?
