Default 2011 Cayenne 18" Winter Wheels

Pre-2011 Cayenne 18" wheels are plentiful. Has anyone explored the idea of using the pre-2011 18" wheels for winter wheel setup for a 2011 model? 2011 Model 18" wheels are 8J X 18 with a 53 offset. It appears that older 18's are 57 offset or higher. Is that a problem? Bolt Pattern?

As long as it's not a 2011 turbo, it is my understanding that 18" wheels can be used on the 2011s. I in-fact bought a used set of Pirellis mounted on 18 " wheels from a '08 CGTS owner.

turbo rotors are too big for 18", the rest are fine.. +53 and +57 is 4mm of difference, so nothing to worry about.. might want a spare set of sensors for the new wheels (tirerack, around 400/500 a set) and call it a day.. they are all 5x130 and i have no reason to think the hub bore's have changed.

Will the TPM sensors for a pre-2011 Cayenne work with the 2011 Cayenne?

Tobyport, they will not work. You will have to order a new set for the 2011.

Default TPMS and Porsche 18" Winter Wheel Package

2004-2006 "Series I"
2007-2009 "Series II"
2010 "Series III"
2011 "Series IV"

I discovered that Porsche has a 18" winter wheel package, 18" Cayenne wheel, TPM and Porsche Approved Michelin Latitude Alpine winter tires. Wheels list for $688 each, but you can purchase the complete package from your Porsche dealer for ~$2500!

Resurrecting this older thread, as I have 2011 Cayenne S and am looking to buy 18" wheels for winter use from a 2005 or 2009 Cayenne. Any update if this is going to work?

Cheers...
