Default Question regarding 2011 Fuel Tanks

"Standard" is 85L or 22.4US Gal

"Optional" (but i think standard in US) is 100L or 26.4US Gal

are their rules in some countries regarding fuel tank size? seems odd to offer two different size gas tanks, one being 15% smaller than the other.

Curious on what you guys have to say,

I'm not in the dealership until Monday, so i can't double check, but I believe the hybrid uses the smaller one in the US. Since there are two, it shows a default option code for the larger one on non hybrid us models.
