Default Need help purchasing 2011 Cayenne

Hi,
This is my first post, so I apologize if I'm missing something. I'm looking to trade in my 09 3 series couple for 2011 Cayenne V6. It's a little far in advance, but I'm looking to get it in June. However, I do have a couple of questions about the vehicle.

First, are the 21inch Turbo wheels compatible with the car? I see it as an option on the brochue but not when you build it online. Do you think the 20inch RS wheels look better?

Second, when should I placed my order if I want to take delivery in June? I've recently seeing the allocation taking up quickly especially for the V6.

Thanks for your help!

$5,525 for the 21" forged turbo wheels
$3,510 for the 20" RS wheels

i personally like the RS wheels the best.

the allocations have pretty much been blocked out by PCNA from feb--->june... not sure if they changed things since i heard last (week ago @ few dealers).

on average i would say a normal car takes 90-120 days.. order 4 months out and you'll be set, im sure when you order 4 months out u can select a further out date if you want.. they wont tell you delivery date but instead your "build" date which is about 6 weeks before it gets delivered pending on too many variables.

i personally would trade your car in ASAP to get max value and order now. OR wait till spring and trade in as prices go up then (but i would say comparing insurance costs over the months and other costs, still cheaper to trade in ASAP and just choose a later date for build date.

Above Rijowysock's advice is the best you can get. I totally echo every single word on his post, literally. The price premium for the 21 inch is because they are forged alloys. Cost of 21 inch tires should also be factored into your final decision. I also went with the 20 RS spyder, love the look and the titanium shade it comes with.

Thanks for all your suggestions. Placed a deposit today for April allocation. So I guess PNA has not release 2nd quarter allocation for Cayenne yet and almost nobody has any allocation for the first quarter anyway....none of which are willing to negotiate more than 2% below MSRP. I was able to get 4% below MSRP.
When do you think the allocation will become available to the dealer for the 2nd quarter? Also, when will I be able to get the car for April allocation...realistically?
