Don't see how that could fail to have some effect on chassis stiffness, but maybe not the cause of the issue you're talking about.
I'm assuming you're saying that PASM should be optional because it came standard on your CTT and you don't like it because it makes the car ride too smooth? If you like a stiffer ride, sport mode should do the trick. Beautiful truck, BTW, although the whole hairy leg thing continues to amuse/perplex/disturb me.

1. Sports bra is a must on the tennis court - only the tennis ball should bounce.
2. Hairy armpits slow down the serve (but do check out the tattoo I'm thinking of getting once I retire from tennis. "Tattoo" thread in OT. Post #61)

I'm down with a nasty flu since the day after the car was picked up. Plus, it snowed yesterday and weather is crap. I can't wait to shoot the P!G, but the timing/setting has to be right.
