Do not update your Mobridge..
We've all heard the saying "If it aint broke don't fix it"?
So here is a tip for all of us that have the early PCM without the phone option and a bluetooth Mobridge. Do not upgrade the firmware!
Only reason I tried it was to see if I would get some sound improvement as everyone on the opposite end of the phone complains that can't hear very me very well.
Mobridge never officially supported PCM's without the phone option, but the first units worked, there was a significant audio level difference from Ipod to phone but otherwise it worked. Since they don't support it the latest upgrade caused it not to work when making a call. I spoke to Matt in tech support and he sent me a old firmware to backdate it but it didn't work, so he graciously offered for me to send the unit back to be reflashed as the SD card wouldn't backdate the firmware.
