Default Cartronics Video in Motion module

Purchased this unit recently along with a FLIR Thermal Imaging Camera. The module is supposed to wire into the PCM and then out to an AV unit that allows 3 AV inputs to be displayed on the stock Nav screen.

Got it and read the instructions and it was WAY over my abilities. Went to 3 shops and then to two Porsche dealers and they wouldn't even try to do it.

The unit requires you to actually open the PCM and install a circuit board and switch out the screen ribbon into the board and I seriously cannot find any professional installer willing to try to do it anywhere.

Has anyone installed one of these? I am interested in seeing how hard you found it and if you have any advice if I try it myself.

Cheers
