Smile Optimum wheel size

I am in the market for a 2008 CTT. I have seen several whith wheels sizes ranging from 19" to 22". What is considered the best size for general street applications?

I'm pretty happy with 20" wheels. They are big enough to fill out the wheel wells nicely, but not crazy big like 22" wheels. I'd go with them again if I bought another Cayenne.

21's in the summer and 19's in the winter work for me. Part of me thinks that the winters actually look better on this truck with the added sidewall.

I noticed that you own a Denali. Do you offroad occasionally with it? The reason I'm asking is that if you ever decide to offroad with a Cayenne, 21's are not exactly the 'ideal' size for both street & offroad use. I have a GTS which sports the 21's and the ride is not that bad when combined with the air suspension mode in 'comfort' setting. As far as pricing goes on replacement tires, that is a completely different story....

However, contrary to popular belief, you actually CAN offroad with 21" rims/tires if forced to (See pic below). These were taken at the Atlanta off-road course.

my offroad use is very limited, Some loose dirt roads to and from the vacation home in Mexico. The majority of the time will be spent by my wife on the surface streets and freeways.
