I'm ready to order a 2011 Cayenne S but my dealer does not have an allocation available. He has checked with other dealers to trade for one and the response is other dealers are having the same problem. Porsche may have over-reacted when they cut production as supply appears to be well below demand for all models (I'm not including the Hybrid in this discussion). Have other potential Cayenne buyers seen the same shortages at their dealers?

I was told that allocations for January builds / Feb Delivery are supposed to come out later this month or early Nov.

Tell me about it. I was in-touch with three dealers and was seeing slots (the few that were available) being filled by the day. Then I pulled the trigger with the last available slot for this yr in the PNW region. Now for a CTT (i never wanted one) there were no slots at all.
