Default Speed Alarm kill

Folks,
I have an 06 Cayenne S and the alarm when you hit 80 mph and then 90 mph startles me everytime I drive the thing. It really is frustrating. 80 I hit more frequently and I have done 90 a couple of times but those alarms going off when focused on the road really drive me nuts. Any way to shut those off? The P dealer said no can do but I am sure it's just a safety issue for them. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Caesar

Thats weird. Although I have only owned my 04 S for a little over a month now I am still not too familiar with the in's and outs of them. Anyways in my 04 there are no alarms at all. I have been driving mine at over 110MPH constantly.

i think you can disable or set a higher speed limit from the settings menu. I'll check later today.

You can definitely turn off the speed limit alert from the setting menu. That P dealer is a crack head not knowing something this simple.

You can go under settings and change the speed where the alarm goes off. And I think just turn it off.

uncheck the "limit active" box as pictured. It's funny, mine is set to go off at 6 mph (:
