Have used Zaino here in MN for our DD's with good results, just use the one-step as a base coat.

I know ! My wife is REALLY pissin me off. First she makes me grovel before finally relenting and allowing me to buy a Cayenne, BUT then she won't give up her space in our two-car garage (my Boxster's in the other space). What's up with THAT ??? :-)

Time perhaps for a single post parking lift in the garage?

So what did you do and how has it worked?

anyone else have any good experiences with wax over the winter?

do most keep theirs inside or outside?

getting ready to put a coat on my cayenne for the winter in the mid-atlantic.

I live in a pretty harsh winter environment and all I have ever used in the past is Zymol Carbon wax on all my cars. My former MB E Wagon (replaced by my Cayenne S) spent its entire life outside, 14 winters, 280~k miles without any problems. I cleaned the paint twice per year with Zymol HD Cleanse then waxed it with the aforementioned Carbon wax every late April - when winter is gone for good and again in October/November.

I've been using Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze for years and it works great.
