When applying brakes, there is a ticking noise emanating from the brake pedal area. In addition, when driving, there is a squeaking rotating noise coming from the underside of the driver side of the vehicle. I have a feeling that these two issues are related.
I've brought my vehicle to the dealership. The service manager took a ride with me and heard the noise. He then called me 8 days later and told me that the mechanic "could not duplicate" the noise. Therefore, they can't fix it.
Sure enough, when I picked up the vehicle from the dealership, the noise mysteriously disappeared. To my dismay, upon arrival at my home, the noise was back. Very frustrating to say the least. I've yet to receive a return call from the service manager to reschedule a visit.
Has anyone else had the same ticking noise issue? If so, what was the source and possible remedy?
Any help would be appreciated.
