Default 2006 Cayenne S Titanium worth?

Am in the process of purchasing a beautiful Cayenne S Titanium in Iceland Silver with 27,500 miles. The car is CPO with 2 years added warranty. The dealer replaced front and rear brake rotors, pads and sensors, and fluids; spark plugs, coils, cabin filters, oil/filer, lube of doors and chassis.

Just trying to see what the market is for this type of car...I am at $38k with the dealer. I was looking at other cars and this is a lot of money for a car going on 5 years. How do the non-turbo Cayennes hold up? Any help would be great.

Seems high. I paid less for a loaded regular S with CPO and less miles about a year and a half ago from local P dealer.

You should be looking at low 30s now for something like this.

Depends on where what state you're in and how many other CPOs are on the market. My dealer is asking $43K for a 2006 S Titanium with 61K miles. http://scottsdale.porschedealer.com/...10596/info.php It's the only one available within 200 miles. I tried to negotiate with them a couple of months back and the best I could do was $39K. I went for the 2008 as you can tell from my signature.

Getting a Porsche CPO car for cheap isn't always an easy thing to do.

Where about are you located bmwtx?

If you're near any major metropolis I wouldn't race out and overpay for a 2006. As you say, it's 5 years old. Maybe you can find one that's not light blue too.

Well, I deliberated yesterday on the car and it got sold for their asking price of $40k. I am located in S. Florida where people have more money than brains which means I will be looking out of state. I have noticed that 2008 Cayenne S's are selling for around the same as the 2006 models with similar mileage. Am I missing something? I have also been looking at 2006 BMW X5 4.8is which I just love but those are extremely rare to find with low miles and they are far from reliable....

My local dealer has a black CPO 06 Titanium with 36k miles priced currently at $38,9.

I also could have sworn they had a "special" tag on it last week for $35,9

We paid $32k back in February for a 1-owner w/47k, and no CPO.

To my eyes the 08-10 Cayenne S looks the worst. I'd go for either the 06 CS, Turbo or the 08-10 GTS.

You will pay a premium for the Titanium.

I bought my loaded 2006 S for $35k about 2yrs ago.

The answer to your question is...whatever you're willing to pay.
Personally, I wouldn't pay any extra for it.
Obviously to some guy it was worth $5k extra.

I've searched for about a year now for both regular "S" and Titanium Editions...I really liked the Iceland Silver exclusive paint and the extras in the "Tit Ed" interior, so I was willing to pay a little more, but not a lot more, for the Titanium version. Seems that low mileage ones were still around 40K, maybe high 30's, and high mileage ones were high 20's...of course, some dealers and mom and pop places are dreaming just because of the badge on the hood. They are definitely higher priced than a regular "S".

I should be picking mine up today, so long as everything goes smoothly, for just over 34K with 48K miles on the clock. It is in very nice, but not mint, condition, but perfectly adequate for a 4+ year old car.
