Set TP Function on PCM 3.0
I've repeatedly searched for the definition of 'TP' in the owner's manual and had no luck finding it.
While 'slumming' thru the various PCM settings, I came across the "Set TP" function button. When activated (checked off), the initials 'TP' with a check mark show up at the bottom right of the screen next to the outdoor temperature. I did a search here on the Rennlist and came up with this tip from 'Sportscarfanatic' back in 2003 and thought that it may be useful to all:

PCM comes with TP traffic program, some stations create ghost alarms and if your TP is on, your PCM will switch to them to have you listen to the latest road conditions.
I've heard some stations in the US are broadcasting false TP alarms to switch the listeners to their stations!
Just uncheck TP from your settings under AUDIO (set button) memorize the setting with the seat controls and never get bothered by TP again!
