Selling the 928 Getting a Cayanne...What To Look For
So as of next month (one more month of summer left) I'm going to be selling the 928 and replacing my Pathfinder with a Cayanne. Right now I'm looking at 05 and 06 S's.
I've been reading the form and see the common problems that everyone lists. Probably going to get one from a P dealer with somewhere around 50 K on it.
Any suggestions on 05 vs 06? Anything I should make sure was done when I look for it at the P dealer. Tips? Suggestionss?

Make sure to get the vehicle service history report. There's a stickied post here with the typical items that people have replaced on 03-06 Cayennes; print it out and familiarize yourself with it. I'd recommend the certified warranty from Porsche. Bumper to bumper for 2 years or 100,000 miles. That way you're covered for anything right off the bat.
I was looking at a 2010 Toyota 4Runner vs 08 Cayenne S. All it took was a test drive on both vehicles....and about $20K extra....and well, the details are in my sig.
