I've had a 1989 944S2 for about three years now and while I love the car it's just too unreliable for a business owner to be attempting to drive as a daily driver. So once it is out of the shop (again) it will be sold to someone with more time and patience than me.

I needed a new vehicle for work and pleasure and I was surprised at the affordability of used Cayennes. So, today I took the plunge and purchased a 2005 Cayenne that has been meticulously maintained. All records are intact and the car is beautiful inside and out.

I know that this thread is worthless without pics and I promise to get some up. It's dark gray with a black interior. Tomorrow I'm taking it down to Richmond, VA from northern Virginia so I'll get some time to know it better.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I had a great trip to Richmond, VA and back yesterday. The Cayenne is running great and I have no regrets with the purchase.

A question. I'll need the 60K service in a month or two. What am I looking at cost wise for that one? I just want to know what I'm in for when it hits me.

Thanks in advance.

I have see $1000 to $1500 depending on how many "extras" your adviser (aka salesman) talks you into. I think the bare bones 60K mile service is $900. Welcome to club.

Good luck.

I recommend contacting Suncoast if you have someone who can perform labor yourself and most dealerships will accept unopened parts from them. Air filters, spark plugs, cabin filter, and a fresh oil change is usually the recommended.................suncoast will know what is needed too.
