Default wired FM Modulator question

When turned on do they destroy the reception on other radio frequencies? Is that why many of them seem to have power switches?

I think this is the one I want: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_0303010...odulator&ssi=0

Looks like it has an AUX input as well as an IPOD/iPhone input.

Yes, they do degrade the sensitivity of the FM tuner to all other frequencies besides the one which is the modulator output.

The forum moderator, Mudman2, has an excellent DIY for installing a hardwired modulator into a P!g.

Thanks.

I have checked for Mudman2's pictures like 40 times. I can't find them. I think he pulled the modulator pics off when he installed the MObridge stuff?
