Just trying to figure out how much y'alls pigs are costing you yearly?
Im about to hit 40Kmiles in my 05 CT and was adding up what I figure it will cost me in the next year..... I'm thinking coils are almost due, 40K service, new tires, just changed brakes. Not to mention atleast 1.5qts of oil a month and coolant pipes could also go out...
Thats atleast $3000

If you go with an aftermarket warranty, it'll run like a top to 100k++. If you chose to gamble and go nekkid; woe is you. At least that's how it works in my world.

Aftermarket warranties are certainly nice, I've just never really seriously looked into them since I plan on doing most of my maintenance/repairs, it's a love/hate relationship

Replaced tires, did 40k service, that's about it for me during 2009.
But I know the coolant pipes are waiting for me
will wait 'til my factory warranty runs out in Mar2011.
