We've updated our reliability stats for the Cayenne to include owner experiences through the end of 2015, about eight months ahead of other sources. In terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year--lower is better:

2014 Cayenne: 36, moderate, small sample size
2009 Cayenne: 54, moderate, very small sample size
2008 Cayenne: 81, moderate, very small sample size
2006 Cayenne: 66, moderate, very small sample size
2005 Cayenne: 86, moderate, very small sample size
2004 Cayenne: 79, moderate, very small sample size

With more participants we could provide precise stats for all model years.

We've updated our reliability stats for the Cayenne to include owner experiences through June 30, 2016.

Repair frequencies, in terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year (lower is better):

2014 Cayenne: 41, moderate, small sample size
2009 Cayenne: 49, moderate, very small sample size
2008 Cayenne: 62, moderate, small sample size
2006 Cayenne: 71, moderate, very small sample size
2005 Cayenne: 78, moderate, very small sample size
2004 Cayenne: 56, low, very small sample size

As suggested by the sample size notes, addtional participants would be very helpful.

True Delta serves as my own "Carfax" type service database. Great work, Michael!

Default TrueDelta

I've fed data to TrueDelta for close to a year on three cars, a Toyota Tacoma (0), a Lexus (1), and a Scion, which had two repairs in that time. Then in July I bought a 2004 Cayenne and in short order replaced 7 A.C. boxes, 1 coil, 2 lower control arms and rear hatch struts. As part of the sale the vendor replaced valve cover gaskets and some o-rings on the camshaft which leaked oil.

But now that it's squared away, "Ruby" runs very well.

I've added my '17 GTS to my account. I'm apparently the only one, thus far.
