What does a rear differential serve to do? What does the center differential serve to do, and the front differential? How would you use these different diff locks in different situations as example (off road obviously) What is the true harm of using diff lock on pavement. Can you use it when there is snow on the pavement, or thick mud on pavement? Does a rear or front differential take away from your AWD. I'm under the impression when you use your rear diff lock, your using your 2 rear wheels only , so your AWD isn't functioning since your in rear diff? or is it functioning some other way, since i've read that people in snow use rear diff. Why is it better to have PSM off, when off road? What does skid plate essentially protect, and the rear skid plate protect
