Default Good Buy? - 06 CS Titaium - Pure Red

Looking for some insight on a possible purchase for my wife. I found an 06 CS Titanium w/46k for around $32k, with the tan/black interior. One owner (this was her 2nd cayenne), and she had all service done at the dealership, along with the coils under warranty. Spoke with the service manager, and he said the records look up to date. Outside of possible coolant pipe repairs, does this sound like a good deal? Let the noob flaming begin....! Thanks.

private buy or dealer buy?

Sounds close to a good deal. Get it for $30K and you'd have a steal!

Seems pretty good. I've seen some similar titaniums with less miles 20ks, in the 35-37k price range.

make sure you have a garage to park it though,, as we all know RED exterior easily turns into PINK w/ too much of UV after few years out in the sun.

To set the record straight, not only on Chevy's, all red colors fade faster because it's the least resistant to UV.

My red Acura Integra (1st car) faded pretty badly, since it was parked in the drive way.

What options on car above? My wife came with air suspension/panoroof/tow package as options. Pure red with black/gray interior. Air suspension is great- driven normally sprung cayenne s and rear occupant seating is bumpy. Coolant pipes outside of warranty is expensive- had those replaced under warranty as a safeguard. Mike ps- red looks great on a cayenne : ).

Additional options are tow package and PASM. Its currently at a dealership. Out of curiosity, how were you able to force Porsche's hand to replace the pipes under warranty BEFORE they explode?

Sorry for the delay Call911s. I have a very good relationship with my service adviser. I had to take in for oil service and some issues with panoroof(malfunctioning ecu module) and he mentioned the coolant pipes last year. I guess they checked for possible leakage and evidently he said slight dribble so it was taken care of. I wouldn't have known if he had not mentioned it. Car has 56k miles now. Because of the complexity of the electronics on the car I added an extended warranty for another 4 years/48k miles before it expired. Mike

I've been shopping for an '06 **** myself, and that's a fair price from what I've seen. I'd seriously recommend going the CPO route for a little more money, however. It's either already naked or about to be with that mileage.

Sounds fair. Get it CPO from dealer = worth the extra $3K (extends warranty to 6 yrs. or 100K miles)!
