I have a 2006 Cayenne Turbo S which I bought a couple months ago. Thank you for guys for sharing the information about the coolant pipes. I enjoyed the reading and was pleased to find what looks like the metal pipes in my CTTS.

I had to take quite a few iPhone pictures before I figured out what I was looking at, but the place to stick the phone was toward the firewall, just slightly toward driver side of center, camera tilted slightly to the front from being parallel to the ground.

I borrowed an image of the metal pipes for comparison to show with my own subpar iPhone picture.

Yes. You can get them from the dealer or from some of the vendors here. Make sure you get all the bits you need to do the job properly. Some of the dealers and vendors here have kits that have everything you need. Even installation instructions. Oh, I see you are from Sri Lanka, so yep the dealer will be able to get what you need.

Default Please say I have metal pipes

Can anyone confirm if I have metal pipes?

Looks like it to me but would appreciate some re-assurance from some of you pros.

Yes, those are metal pipes. You can clearly see the aluminum casting.

I just found this topic and thought I have to know! :P
Since I got my '06 CTT I knew I had to do this fix but was hoping not to!
And I just found out it has already been done! :O
But it is loosing coolant though so I think that has to do with that wet tube?
Is that tube replaceable?

Looks like aluminium!

Yes you have aluminium. Where it looks like it is weeping is where the hose clamps on to an aluminium tube. Look at the picture of post #33 in this thread. You may have a weak clamp or a leaky hose.

Will check the hose and clamp, hope that's the problem of loosing coolant!

It is possible the casting is cracked on the aluminium tube. Less likely, but a possibility.

If you do have to "go in" to fix things be sure to replace the plastic coolant Ts with metal ones.

I'll be sure to check that and replace them thanks!

EDIT: That's this part right? Do you know where I can find the metal one, because it isn't listed in PET either.
