By the way, about these Technos, I'm sure that you noticed that fronts are 9", while rears are 10" wide.
The OEM where with Diamaris, and all being 275x40, but, following an (excellent) post from Clutch-n-Throttle, I decided too for 275x40 in the front and 315x35 on the back.
I should say that since then, the rears looks much more "right" now.
With the 275 on the 10", the side walls were really "angled", while now it simply looks correct and the rear rims are much better protected.
With such config, the diameters remain the same, so no problem from the center differential.
See the look of the rear with the 315 :

My OEM Sport Technos are 20x9 all the way around. I think the 20x10 rears came in the later versions of the first gen Cayennes.

Again, my OEM technos are 20x9 all the way around. However, the Turbo S came with 20x10s in the back. It sounds like the Ti Edition did too if you selected the Sport Techno option. So, yes... you can run 20x10s in the back!

My X5 runs OEM staggered with 27mm5 fronts and 315mm rears. I didn't want to "waste" an upgrade to 20" if I can't run 315mm rear tires, AT LEAST.
My concern now is driveline wear issue.

The 20x10s are cool. The face of the 20x10 wheel is a little more concave than the 20x9. They look good.
