Video: 09 Turbo S @ SharkWerks- TechArt LED DRLs, EVOMSit Software and V-Flow Intake
This 2009 Cayenne Twin Turbo S showed up for our Stage 1 performance upgrade including the EVOMSit software and the EVO V-Flow twin intake system.
Here's the stock engine bay; notice the carbon fiber trim that comes with the "S" models:
Here we are removing some of the plastic panels to gain access to the stock airboxes:
And on the other side also:
Both airboxes removed:
The start of the assembly:
And the other side:
In go the silicone hoses:
Now over to the EVOMSit software. The Siemens TFSI based ECU is tuned for 91 octane:
And ready to go home!
He then decided to add TechArt's Daytime Running Light LED kit to his Cayenne to make it stand out a bit.
First the Cayenne's front bumper cover was removed:
Along with the big wheels and splash guards. See the size of the splash guards here, with a business card for size reference:
OEM lights:
And the TechArt LED replacement:
James manages the wires on the rear of the bumper cover translating German instructions as best he can:
Big mouth:
Those wires are from someone's installation of a front radar detector/jammer.
Second TechArt LED installed, front bumper cover installed:
Testing the LEDs out for the first time:
Close-up:
And a video showing the lights in action:
Note that the lights are much more visible from certain angles, and when traffic is coming toward your front (or seeing it in the rear mirror) they'll likely spot you much sooner. The lights dim automatically when the headlights are enabled and when the signals are used.
