Default Radar question

Recently bought my first Porsche. 2005 Cayenne Turbo.

The Car came with a Radar detector (installed by original dealer) but I have no information about it. It looks completely different than after market detectors and was wondering if anybody recognizes it and could tell me a bitt more about it?

It has 2 tiny LED's that are barely visable in the dashboard and the on off switch is located down and hidden away next to drivers right leg. further there is a light that comes on in the main console and it turns green or orange depending on the direction the on off switch is turned.

I will attach some pictures

Thanks

Might be a K40, those usually have 2 small LEDs in the dash.

I think it is probably a K40 also. The only two that you tend to see with that type of installation are V1 or K40, and this doesn't look like V1 (no arrows!).

Yes that is a K40. I have it installed very similarly in my 2005 CTT. The left one should be the front sensor and the right one the back sensor. I have the thermal windows, so I guess the original owner decided that the K40 was best. I used a V1 in there for a little time, and it was not too bad, about the same range as the K40.
