Default Porsche Cayenne is a true sport (car)

I drive that thing really hard and can tell you it handle great, I drove it at the track and was pushing and passing a few 911 and Cayman S it wasn't a race but a Porsche day at the Track.
Now they are both on snow tires, for sure when we have a lot of snow it's the Cayenne Turbo S, but for short drive in snow storm just few miles around the housse I like driving the 997 TT.

"Porsche Cayenne is a true sport (car)"

Don't make me get a shovel and dig up Larry, please...

It's an SUV, albeit an overpowered and well suspensioned and Brembo braked SUV, but it's an SUV.
It is too easy to do the inevitable 'Turbo point and shoot' on the straights and then hold everyone up in the turns and repeat the process...God, how I hate that

My Turbo S also been on the track leaving others in its wake! They do catch up in the corners but that's because I don't wanna push the pig that hard in the turns not that it can't do it.

OK, so he drives his Cayenne on the track and he drives his 997TT in snow storms for miles around his house. I'd bet Larry would take the shovel and hit him over the head with it...

That's got to be reason enough for a ban...where's the rulebook?

I would honor Larry with a lifetime achievement award if he did, but since he's dead, somehow the word "lifetime" doesn't really seem right.

They are not bad give the size and weight. I have seen them on the track and they just howl in the corners. I'm sure they catch up because the cars in front of them are looking in their rearview mirrors saying WTF is that thing doing on the track! I'm sure the anti-roll doo-dads helps too.

My take on the Cayenne, probably more on the GTS or TurboS, is they are an alternative to a 911 Turbo on a long road trip. Performance is there, plenty of room to haul your ****. You can put the back set down and sleep. Bring your dog along. I would like to put all the laser jammer stuff on it and see if I can make it chicago to denver in 10 hours or so.

Never been on the track...if it may it will have to wait its turn,No.5, then again why???
However the CTT S is as close as it comes to a sports car on twisty roads and ramps....
Never imagined I would not get tired of driving a truck and leave the rest parked.

Next question in this topic could then be "..Does a hitch kit exist for the RS Spyder ?"
