Default 2010 Cayenne or wait for NE Model?

Does anyone know if the NEW 2011 Cayenne is using the Q5 platform?

I like the 2010 GTS and I'm thinking about getting one, again. Or should I wait for the new platform?

No - thought the redesign was slated for MY12 (heck, we haven't even gotten the new hybrid yet). Q5 is a jacked up A4, so no again.

The new platform will be shared with the Touareg, which is due out a year earlier or so it was published somewhere.

Per my dealer (bucket of salt). New 2011 Cayennes arrive in March 2010. Will be a new, he thinks smaller (?), platform. His explanation for why they have so few 2010 Cayennes for sale. Sonnen has exactly one Cayenne, no Caymans, one boxster, two 911s and two Panameras for sale right now.

Lovely inventory. His Panamea 4S is listed as an internet special and is discounted from $122,000 to $121,025 and he's highlighted the savings which are a whopping $975 lol. Sonnen is my local dealer so is it any surprise that I bought my Cayenne S elsewhere? Those of you that have great local dealers are very lucky. dave
