Well guess what ? I take the Cayenne back for its annual service and Porsche detect coolant leakage advisign the block needs to be replaced ASAP. I took them thru the above history, they shrugged their shoulders and ordered a new engine (not block) on the spot !! it took a few weeks to swap over and here I am now with a new engine !! all's well that ends well
