There will be only 2 'collectible' P!gs....

The first one produced
The last one produced.

I will gladly buy one today if PAG agrees that it will be the last P!g produced....and takes the Panamera with it.

I'm fairly certain not even Seinfeld went for the P!g.

There will be exception, I have no doubt the Carrera GT will be a collectible. That is if you do not consider it as one already. But the Cayenne, no way, not even a mint one in a hundred years... maybe a million

In a million years, a few "nukular" (c) wars later, the only things left will be: cockroaches, Cher & a Cayenne or two

But ltc what about this one... the one you felt so bad for? Now that would be a collectable !!!

"...Install a car lift, so as to put the car out of EASY range! Turbo gets the top bunk, covered and (hopefully out of range), Cup car underneath (dog drool, a million bugs splattered on at 160mph....what's the difference) and the Cayenne just has to suffer thru it all (daily driver/tow vehicle....I sort of feel bad for that one)"

Does the real sense of the question is : Does the VW board, (..or more accurately, ..F. Piesch) think that removing the Cayenne out of the "map" will create more success for the Outrage (Touareg, yes, all 7 letters placed: 50pt bonus !!) ??
Ok, ok, it is true that without the crisis, the Cayenne $$$ almost enabled Porsche to buy back VW, ..so, I understand that some in Wolf burg have got some pepper allergy !

I think the problem of Mr, Piesch, even if he has the same gandfa as his (numerous) Porsche cousins, even if he is more able and more talented than all of them, I think he is suffering that on his grave, it will be written Piesch, ..and not the name of a (real good) car !

How many Cayenne has been sold in the USA, ..how many Touareg, and how many Q7 ?
I think the pepper allergy will make a few coughing for some time, but then, it will pass,
..And the real numbers will speak !

I didn't read the rest but they made about the same amount of 914's and after 35 years they finally became collectible. Figure in another 35 years the 06 Turbo S's, 6 Speed GTS's and current turbo S's might be collectible. Question is can anyone keep them running for that long and will gas still be available?

Well considering a low mileage 928 GTS recently sold for $109k there is still hope.
