Question TPMS Issues

Do any of you have the TPMS warning pop up and reset while driving? This happened twice yesterday while driving (long trip, was windy).

That is a negative. Only time there is an issue is when I switch out summers to winters and it takes a few trips for the system to sync with the newly installed rims.

No problems other than low air pressure once, added air and the light reset. Just rotated them yesterday and it took about 10 miles for them to reset.

I get this all the time in the 911, never in the pig.

I'm wondering about tire rotation. Is it needed? I've had bad luck in doing this on other vehicles, so when I had the pig in for it's first service I told them to skip it.

I think I have this issue. Could the batteries are going out in the sensors. I just had new tires put on and didn't think to replace the batteries.

I can't speak for the Cayenne; but my MB does not have batteries in the sensors.

I had never thought of it but my mechanic suggested the batteries when I told him of the intermittent warning that pops up. I'm not really sure.

I called service. They confirmed that there are in fact batteries in the units However...they are not serviceable. I think beru is the maker and probably the same as MB.

Perfect....

It has done it a few more times and then resets = a warranty issue. I will have them checked out and replaced if necessary.

I had that - it would show flats every once and a while. They did the harness replacement TSB, then the control box, then the sensors in all of the wheels and that did it. All was under CPO warranty.
