Default My Summer Road trip - Chicago <> Colorado

Over labor day weekend we packed up the Cayenne S and hit the road. Me, the wife and the Vizsla. Drove from Chicago to Grand Junction, CO and back. 2500 uneventful miles.

We ended up putting one of the back seats down and made a bed with one of the camping air mattress. Made for a easy drive when you can take a nap while the other drives. The bed works ok if you are under 6ft. Not much room back there. The smaller seat side was used for luggage. Worked out fine.

Too bad it's not a little bigger in the back. I'm dying to see how the seats level out in the back of the Panamera. That maybe a good road trip car. The Toyota Sequoia may not be bad either.

Overall a super boring drive until the Rockies, but the Cayenne performed well.

None. Very quiet weekend. I was surprised there were not more cops then there were since it was labor day weekend heading out.

If I had a V1 I probably would have pushed it more.
