So very tragic, and yet one that shouldn't have occurred to begin with. The rationale behind letting a 13 year-old take the wheel, I just don't get and will never get. Why put the boy in that situation where he now has to live with the consequences for the rest of his life? As parents, we sometimes do such stupid things.

That was very sad! Why he let this adolescent teen drive his Cayenne I don't comprehend.

This is the saddest thread I've read so far... I feel terrible for the boy.
An innocent parking episode becoming deadly, I don't think that poor guy see it coming.

A 13 year old should not be placed in that situation. I blame the parents. Driving in a tight area in a performance SUV...where the kid probably had poor visability...and why would the father be in the way of the SUV? Just makes no sense

Agreed. Not sure if there IS enough help to really get a kid over something like that.
