Vacum leak help

Does any know the name of the black cap on the driverside valve cover in the front with a black vent line? i have a leak there? does that have a gasket could a remove the cap?

Not to sound like an a$$.................could you please give me a desciption of the car, and the symptoms. I have never seen/heard of one with an external leak..........

Is 2004 s 4.5 v8 is a hising sound like air scaping not a sucking sound while idle also the idle is very low after warming up the hissing goes down replacing the valve cover is expensive I guess i am going to have to drive to the dealer for more information so far no codes from the computer

first thing I would check would be the oil fill cap, is on properly and tight. theres not a lot of places for a cayenne s to have a vacum leak, but you may hear it manifest itself through the oil sperator.
check the intake make sure it is tight to the throttle body. Then there is a big vacum line on the pass rear of the intake for the brake booster.
You can use a propane torch to find a vacum leak, turn it on do not light it and run it around all possible leak areas with the car at idle if the idel speeds up you have found your leak
