Default DVD not working with NAV or update DVD

Having issues with the DVD drive in an 05 Cayenne not reading the NAV DVD or an update DVD. PCM still works but it's not talking to the DVD drive. Is there a connector that could be unplugged or is there a way to reset it without having to take a trip to see the dealer??

I tried the DVDs from a different Cayenne and it wouldn't read them either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

It's the one under the passenger seat that runs the PCM and NAV.

Too bad you don't have the old reliable CD-based nav system... bulletproof...

Do you still have audio?
If so, then the PCM is still in fact talking to the DVD.
