What's a fair market price for this used GTS?

I'm not sure on the 2009s, Frank. The auction data I received from a friend indicated that 2008s were pulling $59,000-60,750 with as little as 59 miles and as much as 6300.

I was told that it cost the dealer ~$1500 to CPO, so take that into consideration when looking at pricing.

I mentioned it earlier in the thread that I can buy a tiptronic/pdcc/tow package leftover 2008 with ~200 miles for $69500. With 7k miles and no PDCC or tow, I'd pay less for that 2009. Lower 60s. I haven't driven a Cayenne without PDCC, but I think it's one of those must-have options for me.

Good luck and keep us posted

I hope you love to wash it............ black is the best colour but man is it had to keep clean. My tow vehicle and featherlite were black but talk about cleaning....Yikes.

I am lurking as I am considering a pepper, not sure if my dog will fit in the back

Any of the ankle biters should fit in the tailgate.
As for a real dog, the ASPCA would like to talk to you if you do.

Do you think the ASPCA would approve of this? The Pig is a perfect dog hauler (unless you're actually taking anything with you).

I think I have real dogs and they fit just fine in the Cayenne.

The Black GTS is beautiful! What is the realistic gas mileage on that car?

I'm getting ~11mpg in mixed driving right now - more city than highway. I usually have a pretty binary throttle foot, though.

I have a couple of fast vehicles in the garage, so unless I really put the spurs to it, the Cayenne feels like a dog.

Gulp! Ok then, that dashes any thoughts of a Cayenne anytime soon. Thanks for the info.

11 mpg seems to be on the low hide of what most have reported on here, I think 15 - 19 is more the std. range. There are a few other threads that discuss mileage, you may want to check them.

I'm 100% sport mode.

Bill, I'll search for the mileage threads. I don't think there's anything wrong with the GTS, just a heavy right foot. I have about 1000 miles on it now.

Just an update. After a 4hr highway trip and more mixed city/highway, I'm sitting around 14mpg. I have 1800 miles on my Cayenne.

Wayne, thanks for the update, the last car I had that got 14mpg was a 68 Olds 442! Performance has it's price I guess.

That's funny, Bob. The GTS fuel economy is about as bad as any of the full size SUVs out there. It's much worse than my '69 Camaro
