Default Independent in Northern NJ area?

My break pad light just came on, so it looks like I am going to need at least new Rears for my 05 CS, anyone know of any independents to get it done?

I think last time I had my fronts done by the dealer and it was like $875 or $975 or so..

I am up in the parsippany area in NJ (and am not a DIY person when it comes to cars).

Thanks.

Try Powertech in Rockaway, NJ. They do Porsche service, parts, sales and performance modifications. They've done great work for me at good prices. (973) 586-3210. www.pwr-tech.com

Give KMD Tuning in Mountainside a call...they do a fair amount of Porsche work and their prices are reasonable.

Also Autohause in Chatham, NJ. I have been using Gene for 20 years. I did one oil change at Paul Miller on the cayenne and it was something like $325 AFTER 10% PCA discount. Never went back to them again and used Autohause at less than 1/2 the cost (we have since sold the cayenne for a buick enclave as we have twins on the way and needed room for them and our daughter).

off topic- one thing I don't miss is the inflated price for some things on the cayenne- we just did the first oil change on buick @ $19.95.

Don't use the dealer for anything- the price gouging is unacceptable, and more so in this recession.
