Engine Misfire Code

Guys, hopefully you will be able to help here. I have an 04S that has 47,000 miles. Took it in to the dealer this week to have the horn replaced and had them look into a slight studder or missing at low speeds. They just called me and said that they checked the coils, spark plugs and gas and keep getting a misfire code but can't find anything wrong with any of the above except that the gas is a little light. They are going to put in new gas and see if it still throws the code. I don't see how this can be the problem because it has been happening for a while now and I've been through several tanks of gas from different stations. Any ideas???

Seriously, past experience tells me that at 47000 miles the plugs and wires are strong candidates to be replaced. If it were my Cayenne I'd take it home and replace the plugs and wires with new OE stuff myself after buying the parts at a discount online from one of Rennlist's sponsers.
Edit: Just saw Loren's post. I'd do whatever Loren suggests. Word.

What exactly does "gas is a little light" mean?
Clearly it doesn't refer to fuel pressure/pump, since AFAIK, trying new gas won't fix/alter a fuel pump.
E85 perhaps?
Octane rating far too low, causing excessive timing retardation?
For the record, this is none of Larry's doing.

I had the engine misfire. The dealer did not want to replace the coils. I think they replaced some plugs first. I had to push pretty hard to get them actually look at the coils, which were obviously bad.
With the misfire, the CS would shudder and shake as it went down the road.

As has been stated before, if cracked coils are discovered the plugs should be replaced (since the cracked coils will tend to foul plugs quickly)
