Exactly which Tiptronic in an earlier Carrera did you drive where you could not shift gears manually with the steering wheel buttons and/or shift lever?
I stand corrected as to the buttons not paddles. I will go out back and flog myself in shame. Seriously I do not remember being able to bump shift with the shift lever on the 2006 Cayman I drove with Tip, but then us old guys do forget a lot, but then having lived longer we do have more to forget.
