Call the guys at theTirerack. they are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are the experts. Tech gave me a call when I made a mistake and ordered the wrong tires online for a previous truck.
Does anybody has these tires on year round? I cannot find the treadwear rating on these tires. I am in SoCal and only see snow few times a year when I drive up to the mountains. But because I have 275-45-19 on my 06 ****, there are only a few all season tires available in this size. And based on tirerack's customer reviews of those all season, none of them are that great in snow. I don't mind trading off some treadwear but if these are meant to be dedicated snow tires and will only last few thousand miles if I drive them in the summer?

I have put these on my '05 CTT-PK from November through Feb for the past 3 years. This is not a lot of miles, but, here in TX, that means almost none on snow, other than trips to the mountains, and a little bit of "Cayenne ice-skating" a couple of times a year. Although I don't think you can defeat the laws of chemistry and rubber compounding (these tires WILL wear quicker than a summer compound), I have been impressed with how well they have worn - about as well as the PZero Rossos, better than the Diamaris (which pretty much everyone complained about), not as well as my current summer Latitude Sports. Of course, I haven't taken them to the track; but I don't baby them on the street, either.
NB: If it matters to you, unless things have changed, the Ice & Snow in 275/45R19 is NOT Porsche N-rated, supposedly because they mandate a narrower 255 width for snow tires. Since I see more ice, and much more pavement, than snow, I went with the 275s, anyway. Has sufficient load rating and I've had no issues in moderate snow. Have been very impressed with their dry-pavement performance, and they're not bad in mud, for what they are.
