I was driving home the other night when I noticed a reflective street sign "jiggling" as I approached it. After a few more of these visions, I figured I had better take a look when I got home. My passenger side headlight mount was slightly loose and the seal around it has all but disentegrated. It was almost liquidy in a few parts. Went to the dealer ($47 for a pencil thin piece of rubber, in the correct shape of course).

I have never messed with these oddly designed and was hoping someone could tell me how to properly replace the seal.

 

If you remove the headlight its pretty obvious. The seals have some tabs that hook onto the headlights.

 

Sunset have them cheaper than that

 

I guess I did not clearly state my question. How do I remove the headlight?

 

Use the tool from your toolkit in the back, to unlock it from under the hood. 2 plastice flaps about the headlights give you access . It then slides out , its all in the manual
