Default Cayenne crash test ratings

Can't seem to find crash test ratings for the Cayenne. I thought all vehicles had to be tested?
Anyone have any insight?

While topping off the fluids under the hood yesterday in preparation for the coming holiday road trip, I remember seeing a sticker by the hood latch that read something like, "This car has not been crash tested". Let me go pull the cover off the thing and read it again. Back in a flash.

Complete hallucination. No sticker of that type at all. Must have seen something like that in the manual. Or not.

Sucks get old.

Not tested.
Do you have any idea how expensive it is to crash test a vehicle?
That cuts significantly into profits.

It's 5500#...you have nothing to worry about....except perhaps a full framed, cold rolled, American HD pickup truck.....or Ford Excursion

What about real life incidents? Are there any stats on these? How did the occupants fair? There must have been some horrendous crashes on the autobahn by now.

My wife was t-boned in her 04 Cayenne. It is a very safe car and reassuring car. I feel safer (being hit) in it that I do in my F-250, now towing is another matter!!!!

I was so impressed with how well it took the hit that I replaced it with an 05.

Googling "Cayenne crash tests" produced these

http://www.autobuyguide.com/2004/12-...sts/index.html

Not sure if they crashed one, but they have some data on an '04.
