Panoramic Roof and Roof Rails
I saw in the Tequipment catalog that roof rails are not suitable for cars with panoramic roof. Is that just to avoid damaging the roof if one were to attach anything to the roof rails or the roof rails simply cannot be installed?
I have the pano roof and want to roof rails for the looks.
Thanks

alright, we'll start with the forum foreplay....
Hello.
Welcome to the forum.
Please post a pic of your Cayenne, as it is somewhat of a Rennlist tradition for new users to post a pic of their vehicle.
Fine, with that out of the way.......
STTF !

Dear 03LX470 (perhaps a new name is in order?):
As ltc says, welcome to the forum. Please be advised that sarcasm and extremely useful information can be combined in pithy posts by forum regulars. With regard to "STTF", ltc is a "supreme" engineering type and has extremely quirky (from placing flashlights on a pig) vision.. thus he suffers from dyslexia.. STTF is actually STFT for "search the 'freakin' threads".. or it could be his twist of it which would be "search the threads, F ---" (kind of provocative but then that's him). I proposed this to the "powers that be" in the Cayenne forum as a "spin" to the emoticon RTFM, to date it has been ignored.
Lastly, Please refrain from feeding the squirrels...

In a galaxy far, far away and at a time when I was young and Ronald Reagan was President (where is he when you need him), the "squirrel alert" i.e. the airplane and crew stand-by alert was known as the "Ready 1"..... thus:
Oh great Purple one, aye-aye, we will have the squirrels at "Ready 1".
.... oh, and 03LX470, for the forum negative nellies who say we don't specifically answer questions here, let me say what you want to do is impossible... well not quite.. you could buy a set and epoxy them on your roof for looks... but I like the naked look up top myself.......... where's enigmawmn when you need her to explain things?!
