New Lowering module for Q7/Touareg/Cay $599
Guys found this company that was working on a new lowering module
for the CTT/Q7/Touareg.. they are in the Sacramento area.. spoke to the
owner today, he said he's been tracking and testing for 18 months, I know
you guys have been waiting for a cheaper alternative, maybe this is the
answer and personally I dont like the links
i'll volunteer as a guineapig, I'm getting mine on the 25th..
Will give feedback... anyway here's the site
http://www.solo-technologies.com/
his reponse to my email-----------------------------
I’ve been using the module on my car as a prototype for the last 18 months and have attended a number of track days
@ Thunderhill/Laguna Seca and Infineon. You will be astonished at the handling capability of our vehicles while in the
“loading level” at speed. It’s truly awesome! I will have our newest shipment of modules in by next Wed. the 24th
and I will overnight your module so you can enjoy the fun for yourself.

So it is Plug and Play installation? Looks interesting!

What model years do they support? There are differences between model years that has TechArt producing two versions. I don’t remember the breakpoint.
I had the TechArt on my ’04 for a bit but didn’t like giving up the highest ride height. The TechArt offering for later models seems more flexible its height options.

Hey, pdxjim started it by mentioning Bluetooth.
Besides, if the module is under your ***....no wait, the battery is under your ***...if the battery is under the passenger's ***, you simply can't reach over and stick your hand between their legs.....no wait, with some people you can......your arms aren't long enough to reach under the seat and get at the lowereing control module buttons, so therefore is MUST be controlled via Bluetooth, right?
Or am I missing something?
